What a fabulous design! I have ordered all the yarn except the gold Swish -- none is to be found, as you no doubt know. Can you suggest a substitute? I really want to make this wrap, but am not sure what currently produced color would be best. thank you!
Thank you, Anonymous, for your kind words. I know Swish has caused issue for many and I wish I could direct you to a current KSH shade that would easily sub.... sadly, there isn't one. I have two suggestions: 1- Use Ravelry (ravelry.com) as a resource. There are many odd balls in stashes and, seeing that you need less that half a ball, those who have completed their own MQW might be willing to part with their remains "for the cause". 2- To widen your selection of replacement colours check out Kid Seta by Madil, Douceur et Soie by Knit One, Crochet Too and Super Kydd from elann.com. All of these will work well with the KSH you have already amassed. Got luck and have fun! Remember, it's the journey...
I just came across another yarn to check out to sub for the Swish... Super Kid Seta by Trendsetter yarns. On my monitor the colour gold looks pretty darn good... http://www.trendsetteryarns.com/kidsetaspecs.asp
