I had absolutely no idea what to expect. Sheep? Yes. Wool? Yes. Everything else? NO! I was so creatively overloaded by the sights, sounds and smells I am still processing as I type. And, I have a shocking confession.... I bought absolutely nothing.... nada... niente... zilch! There was so much choice my synapses misfired and I simply shut down!!!
What I did take away from Rhinebeck were perfect colours...
perfect faces...and perfect moments...
I have already started plotting my next Rhinebeck visit. Yes, there will be a next time... this trip was to wet my toes in the Rhinebeck Experience.
My next adventure will start with a vehicle full of fiberlicious females, a "chick music" play list on my Ipod, and a fantastic selection of Merlot and Pinot Noir for the end of each day...
Oh, FYI....Top 2 knit sightings were:
Eunny Jang's Tangled Yoke Cardigan
Pamela Wynn's February Lady Sweater

Your dog is beautiful! What breed is he? Looks like a Sheepdog to me.
That looks like a great festival, your photos are beautiful, sounds like you had a great time. We have the Knitting and Stitching Show here in Dublin next weekend. Your dog is so cute. Margie.
Karen, you have a good eye for breeds. To the best of our knowledge, Skeeter is an Old Englih Sheepdog/Terrier mix. We don't know for certain because she was a rescue.
Margie, yes I had a FABULOUS time at the festival. I envy your close proximity to the Knitting and Stiching Show. The one in London is on my To-Do List---- along with the Origins show.
oh! oh! can i come next time??? i've always wanted to go, but had no one to go with and it seemed so far to go on my own.... :)
